I am sitting here, drinking a cup of hot tea of chamomile flowers. No flowers on my table to speak to this morning, so I turn my attention outside. I am staring out my kitchen window and enjoying the trees and their white accessories, dangling. One branch even has a crystal spear holding on for dear life. The ground is covered with pearls, and I see the snow whispering to the wind, "good morning". My attention refocuses on the sounds inside my house. Clock ticking, dryer running, furnace blowing warm heat out of the vent onto my feet. Clicking sounds of someone typing on a laptop - oh that's me. Husband and children quite and nestled in their beds. I don't wanna call them "sleepy heads". Because this morning, I appreciate the quite. I love the peace. Oh now I hear a bird. She sings for me and tells me, "Good morning, beautiful daughter of God. May you have a wonderful and joyous day". My eyes tell her, "thank you" and I go back to another sip of hot tea. I say a prayer to my Heavenly Father and thank Him for blessing me and my family. I have so much to be thankful for. Oh what Saturday morning joy. Now I am equipped to scatter joy to others.

Sister, thank you for letting me sit with you in your thoughts. I enjoyed your warm cup of tea and the beauty of teh crystal ice sculpture danling from your tree, but most of all, I embraced the peace that rested in your heart to share your thoughts and the thankfulness that breezed out of your mouth. Sister, in essence you gave me a glimpse of your heart on that fine morning in Ohio. I love you and miss you. Thanks for givin me a peak into your life. Your sister in California!
